Abnormal rear tire wear

Hello,
Thank you for any advice on this issue.
Car: 1999 Chrysler Sebring convertible w/ 4-wheel independent suspension.
Issue: Both rear tires wearing excessively on the inside; the tires are almost worn down to the radial metal on the inner diameter and the outer diameter has plenty of meat above the "wear marks." I thought I might try to adjust the rear lateral link (it has an adjustment similar to a turnbuckle) to bring the tires inward. Can anybody tell me if I am on the right track? It seems odd to me that the tires are both wearing like this when they are independent. this car looks like it is on a frame, could the frame be bent?

Sounds to me like something has knocked the caster out on the rear. My suggestion is to replace the tires and have a 4 wheel alignment done. You need to replace the tires to get an accurate alignment. Also since the tires are worn so badly, an alignment will not slow down the wearing of the tires.

I agree that if there is not anything visibly louse, worn or bent, then have it put on an up to date alignment machine. The days of eyeballing things are long and far in the past when it comes to today’s vehicles.
You going under there and turning a few of the adjusters in one direction or the other could make the vehicle unstable out on the road. Let alone tire ear.
