1992 dodge D250 pickup I replaced the brake lining all around, rear wheel cylinders. I bled the system and asembled the wheels.Took the truck for a drive and front wheels locked up. I opened the breeders on the front calipers and got no relief. I replaced the callipers on both front wheels. The front wheels still lock up. Opening the bleeder valve on the callipers does not move the piston back. (very little fluid trickels out) I can move it back by prying with a screwdriver. Does any one have any ideas

That is strange, you say you can open the bleeders and the wheels are sill locked? Maybe the flex lines are collapsed and causing the calipers to over heat and seize, once they cool they release, that then they will allow you to pry them back? Just guessing, maybe Venturi or way2old will have an answer. Dan.

Have found brake flex lines to be a big problem on Chrysler products causing front caliper lock up.

How much pressure does it take to move them with a screwdriver? I tend to agree with Dan and Old Timer on the brake hoses. If the bleeder is closed, does it take a lot more pressure to move the caliper piston? If it does, then I would lean heavily toward hoses. Or loosen the master cylinder bolts from booster and see if the calipers move more freely to the released position. I have seen master cylinders "freeze" in the applied position and moving them from the rod will alllow the brakes to free up.
