i have 98 chev pickup 350/5.7 liter, in between idle and power ther is a roughness/miss until i let off or get into throttle! some days it runs fine! also i noticed when i wash truck in carwash that has underwash when done it will do this same thing, also when first started acting up it would start like it was way advanced ignition timing! been told crank sensor, cam sensor or bad grounding has anyone heard of such problem? cleaned all the grounds i could find!
Thanks Mike

Whe was the last full tine up? If it has a wire that is not properly connected, it may cause this.

I think way2old is right on track here, especially went you say the problem is worse after you add water to the mix. You probably have a bad ignition wire that has found a new place to ark (find ground), rather then at the spark plug. So if you haven’t done a basic tune up on this truck that would be the first place to start. Plugs, wires and maybe a new cap and rotor, if the problem persist then start looking at electronics. Let us know what you fine. Dan.
