I have a 1993 Sable that I think has air in the cooling system that I don’t know how to get out. There is an occasional gurgling sound after the car is started and on our first extended use of the car (over 200 miles) the temperature gauge kept going up and down like a water bubble was being passed. Should the system be bleed? If so how?
Thanks, Jay

About the easiest way is to raise the front end where the top of radiator is higher than anything else (about 4 or 5 inches), remove cap from radiator and start engine. The air will move to the highest point and will go out the top of radiator. How much is the gauge moving? Could be a problem with the thermostat there. Good luck and keep us posted.
