I have a 1995 Ford Windstar, I need to change the ignition switch (also called ignition lock I believe). When I search for it I come up with several models identified by a 5 Cut Letter. Do I need to take this cut letter into account when ordering the ignition lock. For example, one I found was: "Ford Windstar 1995, Ignition Lock Cylinder (W0133-1804346) by Motorcraft®. Note: 10 Cut Key - with No. 5 Cut Letter - E."
If I have to take the cut key/cut letter into account, how do I know what I need, do I look at the VIN?
Thanks in advance Bill
