It sounds like my car is idling really high when I'm driving (normally as I usually do). Can anyone clue me in as to why this could be happening? My check engine light comes on because car is mildly overheating. I also believe my tranny is slippin every once in a while.
Is this car almost down for the count? It doesn't justify to do any major repairs.
Thanks, Crystal

Hello Crystal, We'd love to help you with your problem , but we need just a bit more info about the car. What is it's year, engine size and type, milage, type transmission (3 or 4 speed) and is the engine Port fuel injected or throttle body injected, OR, if its an older bonneville is it Carburated? If you could please give us this info and we'll try to point you in the right direction..........................IDOL
