I am hoping it is anything but the fuel pump. It did a weird hesitation then ran fine for the rest of the day, then would not start the next day. Did the weird hesitation thing again then just cranked. Was getting spark just no fuel it seems. 180,000 miles but ran very well before hand. I don't want to replace a fuel pump just to find out it is something else. I was told the fuel filter should last the life of the car but I am not a mechanic. I switched relays to see if it was that but still got nothing. This happened on the 31st. Luckily I don't need to walk more that a couple of blocks to work. Thanks for any help you might give.

180,000 miles. No filter is that good. If you brough it to me and asked me to trouble shoot it, the first question I'd ask you is, when did you last replace the fuel filter? Does the vehicle have port injectors, or a throttle body injector? If it has PFI then it is possible your injectors are getting enough pressure to supply gas on demand. Which would mean your pump is failing. If you have a TBI system then a good cleaning after you replace the filter is a goos way to start to resolve the problem.....let us know what you do and what happens,,,,IDOL
