Hi all, I am a mostly retired ASE tech since it was called NIASE and do some stuff at a shop I made up at my home. You really can't retire if you have family around as most know. Am very strong with older full size Fords and own two, and a Chev 2500 truck for plowing snow. Do a ton at some A/C sites but they seem to really be North American which means Canada of course, and go real slow for the cold season. Bear with me as I get used to this site. I'm no computer geek but have a neighbor that can make them make dinner! Be well all, Tom Greenleaf MetroWest, Boston, USA

Hi Tom Glad to meet you. Let me just warn ya...... If they want to take you on a ride on their boats to find frogs and they have a bar of soap with them and they tell ya they're just gonna clean the frog legs up to put maple syrup on them . Well I would stick to fixing A/C units anyday . LOL Once again WELCOME

THANKS ALL !!!!! For the warm welcome. As far as the bar of soap - I live alone so I just pick it up! :-)
I need to know and check this site out some more. Is there auto respond so I can know something is waiting for me to see or tend to?
Thanks Venturi for helping me get in. I'll never know what went wrong on a couple tries?
I have to spend some time here learning the ropes. If it isn't in my profile anyone can hit me at home base TEFeuilleVerte@Comcast.net I regret picking that for an address but it's too late. That was a a Paternal name but I'm mostly of Engish decent. I'm just stupid - ancestors got rid of that over 300 years ago!
At any rate - THANKS for the welcome. Let's see if we can help folks and get the site what it needs ............ Best to all (I know most of you) Tom Greenleaf

Hi Tom G, I see you have met most of the gang already. They are harmless for the most part just don’t stick your fingers in their cages at feeding time…….
I noticed you were not logged in during your last post, are you still having problems?
If you are interested in receiving email notification of any responses to a particular thread you can place a bookmark on the thread which will send an email to you when a response is posted. To implement the bookmark feature first go to your profile and click on “Bookmarks” then select the option to manage your bookmark preferences. This will take you to a drop down box where you can select either Email or PM notification. Once you have selected the type of notification you want click on “Update Bookmarks and Preferences” to complete the process. Once you have selected your preferences you can receive notification of any responses to a particular thread by clicking on the “bookmark” button located in the upper and lower left corners of each thread. You also have an option to bookmark a thread from the “post message” screen by checking a little box below the posting box. Keep in mind you have to be logged in to bookmark a thread otherwise the forum won’t know who you are.

For Venturi,
You asked if I was still having trouble? If I wasn't logged in how could I make this post?
I'm still getting used to things here. Thanks for your help. Tom
