Hello. I hope women are welcome here.... I live in California and have been a self made machanic since I was a little girl. I would watch my dad (also self made) take a car apart, break for a smoke and a cup of coffee, and not be able to remember what went where. But I did. By the time I was 12, I was rebuilding carbs for the mom's in the neighborhood ! Married in a past life to an man with no mechanical ability, knowing my way around a car has saved me thousand of dollars. Granted... there have been times when I had "extra parts" when I'd put it back together, but it ran! Looking forward to getting great advise here, as long as you don't mind sharing with a women...

Welcome a board and don’t be afraid to offer up some advice as well. We all need help at times. My wife works with me at our shop, as a book keeper and I’m always talking through problem cars with Cathy and at times her different style of logic will take me right to the answer. Dan.

Hello Faith. We welcome anyone here. Gender has no priority. I go to some other sites that have female members and I have learned some things from them. By the way, do you own a 89 SHO?? Welcome to our little forum and we hope to hear from you more. Tom
