Hi guys, I have a 1997 Passat V-6 (2.8l) that needs an alternator changed. I have done the research, and have learned that to remove it the engine must me lifted.
My question is; does anyone know if there is any other way to remove the alternator from a V-6 Passat without raising the engine. If I must raise the engine I will, but if someone knows another way to remove the alternator without raising the engine, I'd appreciate the information. Thanks ---IDOL
