I have a 98 B1500 Dodge van with 50,000 original miles. When run through emissions or put on a generic OBDII scanner I get an inconclusive readiness test or the catalytic converter. I get no codes but have reset the computer and put 300 or mile on it and still get the inconclusive readiness test when put on a scanner.

Hi plistro,
Why are you scanning it?? Are you getting a check engine, or service engine light??
If so then I would recommend you replace the O2 sensors. American vehicles O2 sensors begin to fail around 50,ooo miles and are recommended to be changed by 70,000 miles. It has been my experience that when the OBDII reading is inclusive, and there is a check engine light or Service Engine light, and the miles are 50,000 or higher. Try this , I'll check back.....IDOL
