1998 Trans Sport running rich

I keep getting a trouble code telling me that my 1998 Pontiac Trans Sport is running rich on bank 1. The check engine light will come on, but after a day or 2, will go away for awhile.
Everytime it comes on, i check it and it is the same thing. How can I prevent the van from running so rich?

How many miles on the van? If its more that 70,000, and you brought it to me, The first thing I'd recommend is replace the O2 sensors. If you have done this already, then you should check your fuel control circuit.....idol
