Gentlemen,
on a 2000 Dodge Caravan, 3.0 V6, with new sepentine belts idler, and tensioner pulley, The belt is squealling like crazy. I have tried Belt Dressing, and even the old bar of soap trick, but still the belts are just raising hell.....Any thoughts what else I can do to quiet these things up?
Thanks for the advice!

Hey Mark. Check to see if all the pulleys are in line, especially the idler. They are bad about cocking and running the belt crooked.

Sorry to say this but belt dressing in my experience only makes thing worse . Its like spray on chewing gum. I would remove as much as poss and get belt clean and dry. Brake clean works for me . Next look closly at brackets for p/s pump , alt , a/c . They have a habit of losing a bolt and shifting . If all is ok lightly spray some wd-40 on belt , let us know.
