I have a 1994 Dodge Intrepid with about 250K miles on it. I have an Air Bag light that comes on when I put the car in gear, and an ABS light that comes on when the car starts moving. Also, the cruise control is intermittent. When the cruise stops working, I can pull over and turn the ignition to off, and it will work again.
I recently replaced the rack and pinion, so the clock-spring could be damaged. However, the horn still works all the time. From the little I know about the clock-spring, I would think it would either work or not. I would not think that it would half work. I also recently replaced both front wheel hub assemblies. While I tried to be very careful, maybe one of the wheel speed sensors was damaged? It seems like the Air Bag light came on right after the hubs were replaced.
