Ok guys,
I have decided to go ahead and change out both my fuel filter, and the fuel pump. The fuel filter is easy, I found the old one inline just ahead of the gas tank, and that will be an easy task.
My question is about the fuel pump. my car is a 1994 buick skylark custom (if that matters). anyway, as I lay under the car looking up at the gas tank, there is a large "removable" circular metal cap or "plug" I guess you could call it, on the underside/bottom of the gas tank starring me in the face. Is this what I remove to gain access to the fuel pump? or do I need to figure out how to drop the tank away from the car body?
If anyone could help me out, that would be great.
Thanks Dan

LOL, never mind. the round thing on the bottom of the tank was nothing...from the looks of it all the fuel lines and stuff run into the top back end of the tank, so I'll have to loosen a couple nuts on the straps and drop the tank I guess.
