Synthetic vs High Grade Multi Viscosity Oil

Greatings Gents.....Just looking for some expert opinions so I can do some more bench talkin with the neighbors. What is your opinions of Synthetic Oils, vs High Grade Multi Viscosity oils that is the standard. What I can tell from readin, Synthetics are Longer lasting/ more duable between longer oil changes vs a good grade of Multi Vis, but how is Synthetics on cold start ups, etc..........Is synthetic worth the money you pay for it? As always, I appreciate your thoughts and help. Hope you guys are all doing well.....I put the fishing rod up for awhile, it's deer season..
