After all my engine trouble is dealt with, I think it will be way past time for a tranny fluid replacement! How would I go about changing fluid not just in the pan, along with the gasket, also, if there's a way, in the torque converter as well? This has not been done in a long time, and I don't remeber how to do it! I also think U-Joints have to be replaced, because anytime I shift, there's one hell of a clunk under the car!!

The only way to completely flush the transmission is to have it hooked up to a flushing machine. GM makes no provision for draining the torque converter while it is in the vehicle.

my friend way2old is correct.......it's too much work to completely flush and drain..I wouldn't recommend it, even I try to avoid it unless theres a good reason...Idol
