:(I have a Vauxhall Astra 1.6 cd duel fuel. Sept 2000, 112000 miles manual 5 speed.
The problenm I am having is a feathering type noise and jerking motions until the engine picks up and then she's off like a rocket.
The car does not have spark plugs, it has a single spark coil.
The nearest I could explain it to is it sounds like she is only firing on 3 cylinders or a distributor not advancing, but it does not have a distributor.
I suffer with this at low speeds and going uphill. When the engine is in neutral, I can rev it right up with no sound of the problem, it is only when in a gear and in motion. This happens more when I am running on LPG but does occur whilst in petrol.The problen started about a week ago and I would appreciate any help you guys or dolls could give me.Thanks
