Well, first we need: Model year engine size mileage last tune up anything you may have already done when it does it(cold, warm--driving after 10 minutes or a few hours)
We can not look through this screen and see the vehicle. The more information you can supply, the more we can help. Thanks. Way2old

2000 buick regal with 100500 miles -3800 engine never had a turn up or spark plug change and it runs rough when i finally get it started and smoke coming out of my exhauts. when i accelerate the car will stall out sounds like it is missing very bad and not getting gas.

I would start with a tune up then. Sounds like it may need to be looked over by a qualified shop to diagnose the concerns. But, if it hasn't been tuned up in 105,000 miles, I would definately start there. The bad plugs may cause sensors to read wrong and cause various problems. Let us know.

i took the mass air flow off and cleaned it and it is running good so far. when i disconnected the wire to the mass air flow the positive wire broke. Is there a way to fix it without buying a new one?

I have to agree with "way2old "! If this vehicle came to me and you told me it's history as you did above, the very first thing I'd recommend is a tune up.
This will help you to establisha basline and better determine what additional items need replace. To include, the O2 sensor, the fuel filter, possibly the MAP sensor, etc....
Good luck, and lets us know what you determine...Idol
