Engine no start. replaced timing belt and water pump. Timing marks were off. I'm sure that i have the crank at TDC according to timing mark. Set camshaft sproket 1 at I mark and distributor is at position 1. Set camshaft sproket 2 at I mark and they are facing each other and even with top of the head placed timing belt on. Rotated crankshaft 2x by hand back to TDC, no binding and turned engine over but no start. ? the marks on the camshaft sproket have 3 different marks on them. One is a dot. One is a I and one is a E. The I is the one where the distributor rotor lines up with no.1 spark plug wire on the distributor. What am I doing wrong? And if someone has a picture or diagram of how to set the timing on this thing it would be a blessing. I am at my wits end.
