Hey guys I’m back from Lake Nipissing and it turned out to be another good time with some of my family and close friends. The fishing was decent with a lot of fish that fell into what is called slot size; which means between certain lengths the fish had to be put back. For example Pickerel (walleye) you can’t keep anything between 15 and 24 inches; supposedly they are the best breeding stock.
We weren’t too worried because there were lots to be had below and above the slot and there was more then enough for our fish fry. The weather on the way up was great for driving; dry roads and made it there in about 5 hours. It started lightly snowing on Friday but on Saturday the shy opened up and dumped about 2 feet on us by Sunday morning. It took up about 8 hours to get back to London.
Saturday; Rick the lodge owner closed the lodge and restaurant to the general public and threw a private party for us where he handed out a few prizes for the boys that came up with us and a prize for the largest Pickerel caught.
This is a link to their Web site check it out the place and people are great.

Here’s a few pic’s like I said we had a great time and thought I’d share
This is one of the larger Pickerel I think it was around 28 "
The next couple are about the average size we were landing.
Here's Shawn, Cody and me back at the lodge in the cleaning station.
This is when Rick was giving the boys their sash; it kind of the lodges signature. the boys thought it was great.
Last one; it's of Rick the owner and his manager Colette, doing the host thing.
